Obituary of Alvina Garcia Miranda

Our beloved Alvina Garcia Miranda, age 83, was called to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, September 8, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 plus years, Porfirio De La Cruz Miranda; her son, Jesse Miranda; her parents, Adolfo and Rosa Garcia, and her brother, Joe Garcia.

Alvina is survived by her loving children, Lillie Hernandez and her husband, Jose, Porfirio "JR" Miranda, Jr., Ruben Miranda, David Miranda, Josefina "Josie" Fernandez and her husband, Valdo, Lydia Miranda and her husband, Carlos Alvarado, and Linda Miranda; sisters, Alice Martin, Carmen Gutierrez, and Frances Rodriguez; brothers, Willie Garcia and Pete Garcia; 22 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving familly and friends.

The services for Mrs. Miranda are private.  The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support throughout this very hard time for them.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
