Obituary of Olivia Maria Garcia

Our beloved Olivia Maria Garcia, age 69, was called to our Heavenly Father on Monday, September 21, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel Rogers and Juanita Rodriguez, and her siblings, Rudy Rodriguez, Elva Pena, and Adella Rodriguez Garrison.

Olivis is survived by her husband of 46 years, Richard Garcia, Sr.; her daughter, Denise Hernandez and her husband, Thomas; her son, Richard Garcia, Jr. and his wife, Annette Garcia; her grandchildren, Iris Garcia, Lily Garcia, Aaron Hernandez, Jacob Hernandez, and Karena Hernandez; her siblings, Felix Rodriguez, Rudy Rodriguez, Jr., Lupe Rodriguez, and Rafaela Cano, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Michael Rodriguez, Kelsey Boivin, Thomas Hernandez, Alex Garcia, Jr., Mike Garcia, and Rudy Rodriguez, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Aaron Hernandez and Jacob Hernandez.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2020.  A Scripture Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2020 also at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
