Obituary of Eryn Elise Rivera

Please share a memory of Eryn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Eryn Elise Rivera, 22, Archie, Missouri departed this life on Sunday, October 25, 2020.

She is survived by her father and step-mother, Jesse Rivera Jr. and Stephanie Gutierrez, Austin, Texas; her mother and step-father, Lylah Scheil and Wilber Engelhardt, Archie, Missouri; a brother, Jesse Anthony Rivera, Austin, Texas; step-brothers, Issac and Ethan Martinez both of Austin, Texas; Cory and Colton Engelhardt and Austin Hill all of Archie, Missouri; a step-sister, Eva Perring, Spring Hill, Missouri; step-nephew, Brenden Engelhardt and step-niece, Riley Perring; other relatives and many friends.

There was nothing ordinary about Eryn, she was exceptional. She was born in Austin, Texas, that’s not what made her exceptional though, as so many of her close friends and family liked to tease her about. She was proud to represent her place of birth. She was exceptional in the way she was able to balance life. From work, to school, to time with friends and her family and her fur baby, Reign. And not necessarily in that order. She was fortunate enough to have made not only friends, but a self-made family with all of you here in Missouri, when she entered High School. She had many of her friend’s parents that took her in as their own as well. And for this we are grateful. She is loved by anyone that had even for a brief time got to be a part of her life.

She had big plans after finishing her degree as a Radiology Technician, which she just recently started in August of this year. We recently learned of her plans with a close friend, to force their future children to become bff’s whether they wanted to or not. She had a beautiful smile that will never be forgotten.

Eryn will always remain with each of us in a very special way. She will always remain young, she will always be close by for you as she was here in life, and thank you to each and every one who ever loved our daughter.

We are taking her back to Texas to rest, till we see her again. WE LOVE YOU ERYN.
