Our Beloved Gilberto Sanchez Trevino, age 86, of Austin, Texas, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 15, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro Trevino and Victoria Sanchez; siblings, Pedro Trevino Jr., Juan Trevino, Guadalupe Trevino, Maria Resendez, Mary T. Aguilar; sons, Ruben Trevino, and Roman Trevino.

Gilberto is survived by his loving wife, Mercedes Trevino; siblings, Victor, Evita and Manuel; children, Victoria Ortega, Gilberto Trevino, Roberto Trevino, Elyna Montantes, Angelina Scott, Luz Bramvila Villasenor and Alejandra Trevino; Grandchildern, Jesus Pasqual Ortega, Vicente Otrega, Nicole Trevino, Norman Trevino, Manuel Antonio Trevino, Sonia Berlanga, Pablo Montantes III, Victor Scott, Mark Montantes, Michael Hallas, Amber Villasenor, Chris Villasenor, Daniel Villasenor, Omar Villasenor, Benji Villasenor, Devin Trevino, Anthony Herrera, Christopher Herrera; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; numerous loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St. Austin, Texas, 78745.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
