Obituary of Irene Morales Osorio

Our beloved Irene Morales Osorio, age 67, was called to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 30, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her parents, George Morales and Pauline Ramirez, and her siblings, Jesse Morales, George Morales, Santos Morales, Yolanda Leija, and Maria Matimoras.

Irene is survived by her son, Joe Osorio; grandchildren, Angelica Nicole Osorio, Joe Edward Osorio, and David Gregory Osorio; great grandchildren, Jayden Osorio, David Osorio, Christopher Osorio, and Isaiah Osorio; her siblings, Maria Plata and her husband, Luis, Robert Morales, and Cynthia de la Fuente, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  An inurnment will take place at a later date.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
