Obituary of Felipe Mireles

Our beloved Felipe Mireles, age 68 years, resident of Austin, was born into Eternal Life on Tuesday,  January 19, 2021. He is reunited with his beloved wife, Helen Gonzales; his parents, Leon Esparza and Louisa Maria Ruiz; his siblings, Lupe Mireles, Julio Esparza, Mingo Esparza, Mary Gonzales, John Esparza, and Leon Esparza, Jr. 

Felipe is survived by his children, David Martinez, Patsy Martinez, and Irene Martinez; and nine precious grandchildren; his brother, Raymond Ruiz; his closest niece, Margaret Saavedra; numerous other nieces and nephews, other family members, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side.

This will conclude services for Mr. Mireles. 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask (those solely wearing face shields will not be permitted entry)

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
