Obituary of Monica Stump Santellana

Our beloved Monica Stump Santellana, age 44, resident of Austin, was born into Eternal Life on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. She is reunited with her parents, Curtis Stump and Leticia Duarte McGhie; and her uncle, Santiago "Jimmy" Duarte. 

Monica is survived by her husband, Hector Santellana, Jr.; her children, Leticia Santellana and Hector Santellana III; her two granddaughters, Leah and Lyla; her sister, Erica Duarte; her aunts, Alma Champagne and Elva Lara; many cousins, and numerous friends. 

Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2021, with Funeral Liturgy beginning at 10:00 a.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street.

Interment will follow at Memorial Hill Cemetery. 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
