Obituary of Eric Anthony Torres

Our beloved Eric Anthony Torres, age 33, was called to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 11, 2021 following a tragic auto accident.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pauline Torres and Gilbert Garza, Margarito Barron, and his great grandmother, Filomena Torres.

Eric is survived by his heart broken parents, Serapio Barron and Andrea Torres; his children, Eric Anthony Torres (12), Kayden Matthew Torres (9), Josalyn Torres (9), twins, Zoe and Gianna Torres (6), and Cameron Avery Torres (6); his brothers, Mark Anthony Torres, Cristian Barron, and Jose Torres; his sisters, Yvonne Barron, Luisa Torres, and Jessica Torres; his grandmother, Dolores Alvarado; his aunts and uncles, Gibby (Genie) Torres, Paul Torres, Audrey (Abraham Aguilar) Torres, Albert (Tiffany) Torres, Gilbert Torres, Guadalupe Torres, Edward Torres, and Nancy Torres, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Guadalupe "Barney" Torres, Gilbert Torres, Jr., Joe Angel Torres, Raul Torres, Ruben Gonzales, and Rocky Telles.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Cristian Barron and Mark Anthony Torres.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Scripture Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 also at Mission Funeral Home - South Side.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.
