Our beloved Ernestina G. Duran, age 81, resident of Austin, Texas, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Monday, April 05, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernadino Gonzales, and Maria H. Lozano; her step-father, Pete Lozano; her children, Jesus Duran, Maria Duran, Jose Duran, and Hector G. Duran; her siblings, Guadalupe Rangel, Catarina Gonzales; and 2 infant brothers.

Ernestina is survived by her children, Pete Duran Jr., Della Viloria, and husband, Alex, Raymond Duran, Henrietta Melgar, and Jonathan Duran, and wife, Beatriz Duran; her siblings, Felipe Gonzales, and Carmen Gonzales; 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many other loving family and friends. 

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 13, 2021, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Austin, Texas, 78702.

Mass will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Paul Catholic Church, 10000 David Moore Rd., Austin, Texas, 78748.

Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery. 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time
