Our beloved Matilde Estrada Gomez, age 68, resident of Austin, was born into Eternal Life on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. She is reunited with her loving husband of 31 years, Geo Gomez; her parents, Isidro Estrada and Consuelo Marquez; her older sisters, Hortencia Estrada and Matilde Estrada; and her beloved fur-baby, Milo. 

Matilde is survived by her loving children, Erik Hernandez and Veronica Gomez; her precious grandchildren, Nevaeh and Adrian Ramirez; her siblings, Paulino Estrada, and his spouse, Graciela, Roberto Estrada, and his spouse, Aida, Marie DeLeon; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. 

Memorial Mass will be on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at 6:00 p.m., at Santa Barbara Catholic Church, 13713 FM 969, Austin, Texas. Her family hopes to see all those important to Matilde there. 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
