Our beloved Irma G. Escobedo, age 80, was called to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 7, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Rufino Escobedo; her grandchildren, Joshua James Escobedo and Madaleno Escobedo; her parents, Madaleno and Mary Garcia and her siblings, Olga Garcia Escobedo, Oscar Garcia, Dora G. Lopez, and Raul Madaleno.

Irma was a proud minority female business owner.  She founded Esco Plastering in the 80s.  She had a 25 year history of contracts providing work for the Capitol, UT, ACC, other local universities and many other city buildings throughout Central Texas.  She would also work outside of Texas as her reputation for quality work preceded her.

She is survived adoring children, Rufino “Ruffy” Escobedo Jr., and wife Emlyn, Steven Julian Escobedo, and wife Terri, and Timothy Dwayne “Timbo” Escobedo Sr.; grandchildren, Rufino “R.T.” Escobedo III, Veronica Reed, Stephanie Lanette Sapp, and husband Jason, Staci Regalado, and husband J.R., Jennifer Nicole Garcia, Timothy Escobedo Jr., and Steven Jeremiah Escobedo, and wife, Crystal; siblings, Hortencia Perales and Madaleno "Junior" Garcia, Jr.; 13 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Services for Mrs. Escobedo are private to the family.
