Obituary of Prudencia Martinez

Nuestra amada Prudencia Martinez, de 78 años de edad, residente de Austin, nació a la Vida Eterna el sábado, 14 de agosto, 2021. Ella se reune con sus padres, Julio Guzman y Fidela Salas.

A Prudencia le sobrevive su esposo, Vicente Martinez; sus hijos, Irineo Martinez, y su esposa, Rafaela, Maria Guadalupe Rangel, y su esposo, Francisco, Aurelio Martinez, y su esposa, Alicia, Juan Martinez, y su esposa, Noemí; sus nueve preciosos nietos; sus hermanos, Jacinta Guzman de Saucedo, Maria Alberta Guzman, Martina Guzman, Maria Guzman, Maria Elena Guzman, Venancio Guzman, Jose Asuncion Guzman, Juan Guzman; numerosos sobrinos, primos, otros familiares,  y amistades.

El velorio se realizará el viernes, 20 de agosto, 2021, de 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., con la Recitación del Santo Rosario empesando a las 7:00 p.m., en Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

El Servicio Funebre se realizará la siguiente mañana, sábado, 21 de agosto, 2021, a partir de las 10:00 a.m., tambien en Mission Funeral Home - East Side.

Debido a las restricciones de Coronavirus / COVID-19 de la ciudad de Austin,
los niveles de capacidad están restringidos en funerarias, iglesias y cementerios.
Cada persona que ingrese a la funeraria, la iglesia y el cementerio deberá usar una máscara.
y practicar el distanciamiento social de 6 pies o más. Si está enfermo o le preocupa el virus,
se recomienda que no asista a los servicios.
La familia está muy agradecida con todos por su comprensión, amor y apoyo.

Our beloved Prudencia Martinez, age 78 year, resident of Austin, was born into Eternal Life on Saturday, August 14, 2021. She is reunited with her parents, Julio Guzman and Fidela Salas. 

Prudencia is survived by her husband, Vicente Martinez; her children, Irineo Martinez, and his spouse, Rafaela, Maria Guadalupe Rangel, and her spouse, Francisco, Aurelio Martinez, and his spouse, Alicia, Juan Martinez, and his spouse, Noemi; her nine precious grandchildren; her siblings, Jacinta Guzman de Saucedo, Maria Alberta Guzman, Martina Guzman, Maria Guzman, Maria Elena Guzman, Venancio Guzman, Jose Asuncion Guzman, Juan Guzman; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021, 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m, at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

The Funeral Service will be held the following morning, Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., also at Mission Funeral Home - East Side. 

Services will be live-streamed to allow those unable to attend to participate.  Follow link to Facebook Live Mission - East Side. 

Interment will follow. 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

during this very difficult time.
