Obituary of Christian Raul Martinez, Sr.

Our beloved Christian Raul Martinez, Sr., age 51, was called to our Heavenly Father on Monday, August 16, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his father, Alfonso Richard Martinez and his brother, Lawrence Michael Martinez.

Christian is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lydia Martinez; his mother, Hortensia Mendez Martinez; his children, Krystalyn Ledesma (Joe), Maricela Marie Martinez, Tianna Concepcion Martinez (Austin Spencer); Sam Martinez, and Christian Raul Martinez, Jr.; his grandchildren, Michael Ledesma, Nicolas Ledesma, Elliana Ledesma, and Benjamin Matteo Spencer; his siblings, Helena Trynoski, Alfonso Richard Martinez (Cynthia), and Mark Anthony Martinez (Renee), and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E. 2nd St., Austin, Texas.  Public Services for Mr. Martinez will conclude following Mass.

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.
