Obituary of Andrew L. Villela

Our beloved Andrew L. Villela, age 83, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, August 27, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Dimas Billela and Victoria Lopez Villela; his siblings, Francisco Villela, George Villela, Domingo Villela, Julia Villela, Dominga Villela, Johnny Villela, and Terry Ybarra and his brother-in-law, Santiago Garcia.

Andrew is survived by his children, Julie Villarreal, Christopher Villela, and Andrew Villela, Jr. (Selena); grandchildren, Julia Villarreal, Erica Gonzales, Reuben Gonzales, Nicole Villela, Samantha Villela, Victoria Villela, Chris Villela, Layla Villela, Mia Villela, and Andrew Villela III; 17 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Linda Garcia, Memo Villela (Virgie), Mary Machado (Roy), Evaristo Villela (Esperanza), and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Manuel Sepeda, Rudy Villela, Juan Anzures, Jr., Jesse Barron, Ronnie Machado, Dakota Terrell, Chris Villela, Jr., and Angel Garcia.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Edward Villela, Joey Galvez, Robert Garcia, and Johnny Villela, Jr.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  

A Scripture Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2021 also at Mission Funeral Home - South Side.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
