Robert Rodriguez, Jr.

Obituary of Robert Rodriguez, Jr.

Please share a memory of Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Our beloved Robert Rodriguez, Jr., age 37, was called to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, August 25, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas Rodriguez.

As a young man Robert had ambitions of owning his own company. At the age of 20, those dreams became a reality as he and his wife established ROBCO Painting Services, LLC.

If you knew Robert, you knew exactly what you were getting, a genuine individual that loved beyond compare. A smile and laugh that will forever be unmatched. A handshake and hug that will never be forgotten. Solid in every sense of the word. Not just in stature but in his integrity, morals, values and beliefs. A love for life and an even grander love for his family; his wife and kids. Robert lived life to the absolute fullest and loved without fail. He will be forever missed but always remembered.

Robert is survived by his wife Erica Rodriguez; his children, Andrea Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez, Romero Rodriguez; his parents, Betty and Robert Rodriguez, Sr.; his siblings, Raymond Rodriguez (Sarah Alejandro), Rueben Rodriguez, and Ricky Rodriguez (Juanita Romero); his grandparents, Ophelia and Esteban Saldivar and Lucinda Rodriguez, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 6, 2021 also at Mission Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Onion Creek Cemetery, Menchaca, Texas.
