Obituary of Antonio B. Torres III

Our beloved Antonio B. Torres III "Tony", age 50, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Deanna Torres; his parents, Antonio E. Torres Jr. and Mary Ann Torres; his children, Gabrielle Torres and  Brianna Torres (Alec); his stepsons, Justin Ortiz, Everett Avila-Boyden, Alejandro Ortiz (Manuela), and Marcelo Ortiz;  his granddaughters, Mia Arredondo, Isabella Avila-Boyden, and Gisselle Ortiz; his siblings, Lisa Torres Padilla (Benny), Mary Ann Angel (Anthony), Michelle Torres (Luis), and Diane Torres (Linda), and many nieces and nephews, and family and friends. 

Tony was a proud lineman where he served the community of Austin. He was employed with Austin Engery for 30 years, where he established many friendships along the way, many of them becoming more like family. 

A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021, beginning at 1:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. 1st Street, Austin, Texas 78745.

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.
