Obituary of Ralph Ramirez

Our beloved Ralph Ramirez, age 52, resident of Austin, was born into Eternal Life on Friday, September 10, 2021. He is reunited with his father, Trinidad Ramirez; and his brother, Rudy Ramirez. 

Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Marie; his children, Joshua and Jordan Mata; his stepchildren, John Mata, Erwin Heredia, and Amanda Heredia; his mother, Irene Reyes Ramirez; his brothers, George Ramirez, Trinidad (Brittany) Ramirez, Jr., Ruben Ramirez, Henry (Julie) Ramirez, Eddie (Marie) Ramirez, Ernest Ramirez, and Steven Ramirez; his sisters, Mary Alice Ramirez, Dorothy Ramirez, and Rachel Ramirez; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 East Second Street, Austin, Texas. 

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
