Obituary of Ismael Esquivel

Our beloved Ismael “Emmy” Esquivel., age 23, was called to our Heavenly Father on Thursday December 16, 2021. Born in Austin, Texas on September 16, 1998. Emmy was known for his beautiful smile, hair, and the way he held a special place in someone's heart.

He was a wonderful son, a brother, an Amazing uncle, and a very loving boyfriend. He was one of a kind when it came to the way he played his favorite sport, pool. His talent will always be remembered. Emmy leaves behind his legacy of love and many beautiful memories. We will forever hold him close to our hearts. 

His hobbies included Pool, disc golf, soccer, football, baseball, track, and gambling.

He is survived by his Mother; Elizabeth Martinez, Father; Gerardo Garcia, Grandparents; Erminia Martinez, Cuca, and Ismael Esquivel, Brother; Jose Angel Esquivel Jr., Sister; Esmeralda Esquivel, Significant Other; Hanna Dudley, Nieces; Cattaleya Esquivel, Jasmin Esquivel, and one on the way Adelita Emmy Esquivel, Sister-in-law; Delia Esquivel, Brother-in-law; Lucas Ontiveros, Pets; Rooster, Nugget, and Sushi. Many uncles and aunts, cousins, other family members, and many friends.

The family names the following gentlemen as Honorary Pallbearers; Alfredo Orosco III, and Raul Rodriguez Jr., Pallbearers; Cruz Maldonado, Eugenio Jaimes, Lucas Ontiveros, Sonny Gonzalez, and Antonio Rojas.

Visitation Services will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home-East, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin Texas. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 30th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E. 2nd St., Austin Texas.

Interment Committal Services will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH-35, Austin Texas
