Obituary of George Ramon

Our Beloved George Ramon, age 60 of Austin passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Mr. Ramon was Honorably Discharged from the U.S. Navy serving His Country proudly. Preceded in death by his father, Alfredo “Tex” Ramon.

George is survived by his Wife; Albeisa Garcia, Children; Tina Ramon, Dori Sanchez, Mother; Mary L. Escobedo, Step-Father; Abel Escobedo, Step-Mother Rosie Ramon, 2 Sisters; Joyce Yvonne Ramon-Martin, Mia Alexandria Ramon, 2 Brothers; Gregory James Ramon, Jeffrey Gene Ramon, 3 Grandchildren; Emma, Miranda, and Nathan, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

George loved fishing and golfing with his family and friends. George also loved to travel.  George will be remembered for his love of family and friends, his sense of humor, and his love of music.

Honored Pallbearers will be Manuel Marquez, Polo Olivarez, Danny Sifuentez, Ernest Lopez, Geno Ramon, Andy Ramon, Jeremy Milon and Eric Gil.  Honorary Pallbearers are his uncles Ron DeLaRosa, Mario Ramon, and Mike Ramon.

Visitation Service will be held on Monday, January 10th, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home Chapel, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin Texas 78702.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 11th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church,126 W Oltorf St, Austin, TX 78704.

Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Coastal bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 IH-37, Corpus Christi, Texas.
