Obituary of Martin Anthony Camarillo, Sr.

Our beloved Martin Anthony Camarillo, Sr., age 53, was called to our Heavenly Father on Monday, February 7, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Camarillo and his sister, Elisa Amezcua.

Martin is survived by his children, Martin A. Camarillo, Jr., Monica Camarillo (James Martinez), and Daisy Camarillo; his grandchildren, Matthias Anthony Camarillo, Ximena Madison Camarillo Rodriguez, Theodore James Martinez, Evelyn Jane Martinez, and Marshall Cameron Martinez, and one on the way; his siblings, Eulalio Samarripa, Jr., Maryjane Samarripa, Teua Marina Ramirez, Sylvia Rodriguez, Paul Samarripa, Elizabeth Samarripa, Michael Samarripa, Christina Samarripa, Joanne Samarripa, David Samarripa, Joe Manuel Samarripa, Geneva Samarripa, Roseanne Samarripa, Janie Samarripa, Sebastian Samarripa, Gloria Samarripa, Idalia Ramirez, and Henrietta Garza, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

during this very difficult time.
