Obituary of Lucia Rios

Our Beloved Lucia Rios age 86, of Austin passed away on Sunday, February 13th, 2022.

Lucia is preceded in death by her Parents; Catarino and Josephine (Perez) Rios, 2 Sisters; Bertha Travino, Sandy Moreno, 3 Brothers; Edward Perez Rios, Sr., Eziquel P. Rios, Sr., and Albert Rios, 1 Niece; Mary Sue Trevino, 4 Nephews; Rudy Moreno, John Albert Rios, Alex Rios, and Robert Trevino.  

Mr. Rios is survived by her Siblings; 1 Sister; Carmen Ramirez, 3 Brothers; Catarino Perez Rios, Jr., Rudy Perez Rios, James Perez Rios, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

Visitation Services will be held on Thursday, March 3rd, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home Chapel, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin, Texas 78702.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 4th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 E. 9th St., Austin, Texas 78702. 

Interment Committal Services will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH-35, Austin Texas 78704.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
