Obituary of Robert Martinez

Our beloved Robert Daniel Martinez, age 66, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, March 11, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Lino and Rachel Martinez, and his sisters, Mary Irene Martinez and Rachel Martinez.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Lenora "Nora" Martinez; his sons, Daniel A. Martinez, Sr. (Erica) and Bobby G. Martinez; his grandsons, Daniel A. Martinez, Jr. and Anthony E. Martinez; his brothers, Lino Martinez, Jr. (Dee Sanchez) and Dr. Jesse Galvez Martinez (Laura Lynn Baldwin), and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thrusday, March 17, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2022 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, Robert T. Martinez & 2nd St., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations towards services can be made by calling Mission Funeral Home at 512-444-3355.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to
