Obituary of Twenna Lea Alba

Our Dearest Twenna Lea (Imel) Alba, age 58 of Austin, passed away on Tuesday, April 19th, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

Twenna is survived by her husband; Paul C. Alba, Jr., Children; Jennifer Renee Imel, Jessica Marie Barnes, and Husband Charles, David Michael Slott and Wife Rosie, Sarah Michelle Slott, 8 Grandchildren, 2 Sisters; Leanna Benefiel, and Husband Raymond, Samantha Imel, 2 Brothers; Richard Imel, Jr., and Christopher Imel, 2 Nieces, 9 Nephews, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Richard, Sr., and Tanya Lea (Bailor) Imel, Grandson; Novel Jermaine Green, Jr.,  Niece; Shannon Nicole Imel, and several Aunts and Uncles. 

Visitation Services will be on Thursday, April 28th, 2022 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin Texas 78702. 

Funeral Liturgy Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 29th, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Interment Committal Services will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH-35, Austin, Texas 78704.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
