Obituary of Benito Juarez, Jr.

Our Beloved Benito Juarez, Jr., age 64 of Austin, passed away peacefully surrounded by His family on Wednesday, May 25th, 2022. Benito is preceded in death by his parents, Benito Juarez, Sr., and Regina Ortiz Herrera, and Gilbert Herrera. 

Benito most enjoyed being a USSSA and ASA Umpire for many years. HIs hobbies included softball, BBQs, football, riding horses and especially spending time with his family.

Mr. Juarez is survived by His Beloved Wife of 41 plus years; Marilyn N. Juarez; his children, April Juarez Reese (Melvin), Margo Moreno (Xavier), Kimberly Juarez (Jeremy Myers), Kevin Nunn, and Adrian Perez; his siblings, Hope Muniz (Frank), Pastor Debbie Vega (Pastor Mike), Brenda Herrera, Bonnie Herrera, Manuel Lara (Yolanda), Gilbert Herrera, Jr. , and Juan F. Herrera; and 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and  numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends;

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. at 1:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home -South Side, 6204 S. 1st St. Austin, Texas.

Funeral Liturgy Services will begin at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2022, also at Mission Funeral Home -South Side.  Services will conclude following Liturgy.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
