Nuestro amado Arturo Soto Ornelas, de 62 años, fue llamado a nuestro Padre Celestial el lunes 18 de 2022. A Arturo le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Cristino Ornelas y Maria De Jesus Soto, su hija, Christina Ornelas, y su hermanas, Rosa Ornelas and Amparo Ornelas, hermano Reymundo Ornelas, sobrina Blanca Reyes, y su Yerno; Alonzo Garcia.

Arturo le sobreviven su esposa, Christina Haros Ornelas, sus hijas, Mary Jesse Ornelas (Arturo Rodriguez), Angela Marie Ornelas (Arturo Ramirez), Janie Ornelas, su unico Hijo; Arturo Ornelas (Lisa Marie Ornelas); Hermano; Leroy Ornelas, sus nietos, Melody Rodriguez, Casidy Rodriguez, Christine Rodriguez, Arturo Rodriguez, Isaiah Ornelas, Javier Ornelas, Angel Ornelas, Destiny Ornelas, Joel Ornelas, Alfonso Garcia, Jr. and Christina Garcia, y Oscar Mandujano; sus hermanas, Margarita Ornelas, Esther López, Amelia Ornelas, Teresa Ornelas, y numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas, y muchos otros familiares y amigos cariñosos. Arturo también deja numerosas sobrinas y sobrinos, y muchos otros familiares y amigos cariñosos para atesorar su memoria.

Portadores seran; Javier Ornelas, Angel Ornelas, Joel Ornelas, Arturo Soto Rodriguez, Alfonzo Ornelas Garcia, Isaia Ornelas, y Jesse James Ornelas.

El velorio se llevará a cabo de 9:00 a. m. a 1:00 p. m. con el Servicio Funebre a partir de la 1:00 p.m. el Lunes 1 de Agosto de 2022 en Mission Funereal Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. El entierro seguirá en el Cementerio de la Asunción, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

Our beloved Arturo Soto Ornelas, age 62, was called to our Heavenly Father on Monday, 18, 2022. Arturo is preceded in death by his parents, Cristino Ornelas and Maria De Jesus Soto, his daughter, Christina Ornelas, his brother, Reymundo Ornelas, his sisters, Rosa Ornelas and Amparo Ornelas, his niece, Blanca Reyes, and his son-in-law, Alfonzo Garcia.

Arturo is survived by his wife, Christina Haros Ornelas, his daughters, Mary Jesse Ornelas (Arturo Rodriguez), Angela Marie Ornelas (Arturo Ramirez), Janie Ornelas, his only son, Arturo Ornelas (Lisa Marie Ornelas); his grandchildren, Melody Rodriguez, Casidy Rodriguez, Christine Rodriguez, Arturo Rodriguez, Isaiah Ornelas, Javier Ornelas, Angel Ornelas, Destiny Ornelas, Joel Ornelas, Alfonso Garcia, Jr. and Christina Garcia, and Oscar Mandujano; his sisters, Margarita Ornelas, Esther Lopez, Amelia Ornelas, Teresa Ornelas, his brother, Leroy Ornelas. Arturo also leaves numerous nieces and nephews, and many other loving family members and friends to cherish his memory. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Javier Ornelas, Angel Ornelas, Joel Ornelas, Arturo Soto Rodriguez, Alfonzo Ornelas Garcia, Isaia Ornelas, Oscar Mandujano, and Jesse James Ornelas.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2022, at Mission Funereal Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
