Obituary of Pedro Moreno, Jr.

Our beloved Pedro “Pete” Moreno, Jr., age 76, resident of Austin, Texas, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 4th, 2022. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Lillie Moreno; his sisters, Eva Ramirez and Velia Milligan; and his brothers, Guadalupe Moreno, David Moreno and Thomas Moreno.

Pedro is survived by his loving children, Pete Moreno III and Thomas Moreno; his granddaughters, Kaitlyn Moreno and Isabella Moreno; his sister, Janie Garza; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 15th, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home – East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Tx, 78702.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following morning, Tuesday, August 16th, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E. 2nd St., Austin, Texas 78702.

Interment to follow after at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S IH-35 frontage road, Austin, Tx, 78704.

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

during this very difficult time.
