Obituary of Frank C. Castilleja, Sr.

Our Beloved Frank C. Castilleja, Sr., age 81 of Austin, entered into Eternal Rest on Wednesday, August 10th, 2022 surrounded by His Family.

Born and raised in Lockhart, Texas, Frank was a lifelong resident of Austin. He is preceded in death by His Wife; Stella Castilleja, Son; Christopher Ray Castilleja, Parents; Pedro, Sr., and Braulia (Calderon) Castilleja, 2 Sisters; Placida Cardenas, and Dominga Salinas, and 1 Brother; Pedro Castilleja, Jr.

Mr. Castilleja is survived by Children, Monica (Elbert) Esquivel, DeAnna (Tijuana) Ervin, Sandra (John) Turner, Frank (Patricia) Castilleja, Michael (Valerie) Castilleja, and Christine (Terrell) Castilleja-Simpson; 21 grandchildren, 38 Great grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation Services will be held on Monday, August 22nd, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home-East Chapel, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of The Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 23rd, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E. 2nd St., Austin, Texas 78702.

Interment Rites to follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH-35, Austin, Texas 78704.
