Obituary of Antonia Hernandez

Our beloved Antonia Hernandez, age 61, was called to our Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 3, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Angel Reyna Martinez; her son, Robert Morales, Jr.; her parents, Antonia Hernandez and Samuel R. Nunez; her brother, Jimmy Hernandez and sister, Dolores Anthony.

Antonia is survived by her children, Alice Morales, Veronica Sanchez, Rita Reyes, Arazeli Martinez Baltazar, and Joe Angel Hernandez; her grandchildren Alyssa, Sergio, Marcus, Zachary, Serena, Mariah, Marina, Emmy, Amelia, Aleena, Analee, Isaac, Jonathan, Gisella, Stephen, Ameerah, Avery, and Jasmine; great grandchildren, Tres, Ayva, RJ, Zelda, and Miko; siblings, Michael Hernandez, Linda Hernandez, Maryann Hernandez, Ernestina Hernandez, Teresa Hernandez, Elvira Alfaro, and Mary E. Beltran, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Honored Pallbearers will be Joe Angel Hernandez, John Paul Maldonado, Sammy Baltazar, AJ Delgado, Sergio Villanueva, Isaac Anchondo, Marcus Barr, Zachary Barr, and Stephen De la Cerda.     

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, Robert T. Martinez & 2nd St., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Capital Parks Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,
