Obituary of Dominga Flores

Our beloved Dominga Flores, age 82, was called to our Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 8, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Leovigildo "L.J." Diaz, Sr.; her son, Daniel Coronado; her daughter, Maria Magdalena Coronado; her grandson, Michael Anthony Coronado; her parents, Jose Flores, Sr. and Martina Saldaña, and her siblings, Rafaela Nieto, Simon Flores, Ignacio Flores, and Jose Flores, Jr.

Dominga is survived by her children, Irma Diaz Sanchez and her husband, Marcelo; her grandson, Zachary Coronado, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 14, 2022 at St. Ignaitus Martyr Catholic Church, 126 W. Oltorf St., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
