Obituary of David Gilbert Rodriguez

Our beloved David Gilbert Rodriguez, age 58, was called to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his parents, David Reyes Rodriguez and Dolores Fabian Rodriguez and his siblings, Janie V. Torres, Vera V. Ortega, and Edward Albert Rodriguez.

David is survived by his wife of 30 years, his lifelong best friend, Nelda Moran Rodriguez; his children, Linda Davila (Rudy Garcia), Erica Tijerina (Johnny Hernandez), and Alaina Moreno (Jose Escobedo); his treasured grandchildren, Eliza, Xavier, Victor, Eve, Ivy, Jace, Erik, and Guillermo; his sister, Mary J. Rodriguez (Manuel); his in-laws, Rudy and Linda Flores; brothers-in-law, Sam Moran and Jaime Rendon; sister-in-law, Mary Moran, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service being held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022 also at Mission Funeral Home - South Side.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.
