Obituary of Berta Garcia

Our beloved Berta P. Garcia, age 85, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Monday, November 21, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuela and Vicente Perez; her siblings, Vicente Perez, Hector Perez, and Raul Perez. 

Berta is survived by her loving husband of 60 beautiful years, Atanacio S. Garcia; her children, Joyce Polanco (Donald), Jesse P. Garcia (Anji); her grandchildren, Joshua Garcia, Brandon Polanco, Samantha Neumann (Christian), Jacquelyn Polanco, and Evan Garcia; two great grandchildren, Sophia Polanco-Gonzalez, and Jaxon Walker; her siblings, Juan Perez, Severiano Perez, Rosantina Ruiz, Justo Perez, Ricardo Perez; numerous nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends. 

Serving as Pallbearers are Josh Garcia, Brandon Polanco, Evan Garcia, Kenneth Dodson, Christian Neumann, and Jesus Hector Perez. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Fuenral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S 1st St. Austin TX 78745.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at Santa Cruz Catholic Church, 1100 Main St. Buda, Texas 78610.

Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
