Obituary of Daniel Vincent Moreno

Our beloved Daniel Vincent Moreno, age 47, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023.  Daniel proudly service our country as a member of the United States Army.  He further served his community as an officer with the Travis County Sheriff's Department, serving over 20 years.

Daniel is survived by his wife of 20 years, Rene Moreno; his daughter, Drina Moreno; his parents, Susano Moreno and Lydia Estrada; his siblings, Joe Moreno (Sherry), Angelica Moreno, and Raymond Moreno (Rebecca), as well as nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023 with a Chapel Service beginning at 2:00 p.m. beginning with Military Honors at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  Public services for Daniel will conclude following the service.

A fund has been created to help with family.  In advance the family expressed their gratitude for the love and care they are receiving through this most difficult time.  If you would like to contribute, please visit Officer Daniel Moreno.
