Manuel Benavides Gonzalez, age 74 passed away peacefully on March 30th, 2023 in Memphis, Texas.

Services will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Memphis, Texas April 15th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.

Manuel was born in McAllen Texas toi Ignacio and Eendina Gonzalez on September 16, 1948. He had been a resident of Lakeview and Memphis Texas area for many years. He worked as a Cotton Ginner throughout the STate of Texas and retired from the Lakeview Farmers Coop Gin. 

He is survived by His former Spouse; Lidia Gonzalez of Memphis Texas, His Children; Monica Gonzalez-Williams and Husband Raine of Laguna Vista Texas, Rudie Gonzalez and Wife Misty of Junction Texas, Raul Gonzalez and Wife Casey of Memphis, Vanessa Cervantes and Husband Mario of Memphis Texas, His Grandchildren; Matthew Gonzalez, Gaynor Gonzalez, Demori Ethridge and Husband Michael, Levi Gonzalez and Wife Lacey, Devin Gonzalez, Mackewin Gonzalez, Alexis Cervantes, Koddi Crofty, Janesa Cervantes, Kanyn Croft, and Max Cervantes, and Nine Great-Grandchildren. His Brothers; Ignacio Gonzalez, Jr., Robert Gonzalez and Wife Mary, Jose Gonzalez and Wife Dianna, and a Sister; Olga Aguilar, Munerous Nieces and Newphews.

He is preceded in death by His Mother; Enedina, His Father; Ignacio Gonzal;ez, Sr., and three Sisters; Olivia Barbosa, Estella Rodriguez, and Yolanda Flores.
