Obituary of Juan Enrique Zavala

Our beloved Juan Enrique Zavala, age 77, was called to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Janie Zavala, Felix Zavala, and Mike Zavala.  Juan proudly served a member of our military forces, retiring from the United States Navy.

Juan is survived by his wife of 28 years, Rosa Zavala; his son, Dai Zavala (Lupita); grandson, Dai Zavala II, and great grandson, Dai Zavala III; his sister, Angie Zavala, and his nieces and nephews, as well as other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

The Scripture Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas. Entombment will follow also at Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum.

We politely request those who will be attending services have

face covering or mask in case it may be needed. 

Masks or face covering are no longer required for attendance,

but are still suggested for community care.

Social distancing is also still suggested by not required.
